Balanced architectural design: the ecological aspect

The eco-friendly design

Construction consumes 45% of energy from the earth’s resources, and emits up to 35% of greenhouse gases, to reduce the harmfulness of environmental building one of the aspects of blanced architecture is the ecological aspect, that is, designing of buildings so that they are environmentally friendly. Such buildings are usually designed according to the following rules:

  • energy savings, the buildings are designed to consume as little energy as possible and to make use of its renewable sources,
  • reduce the emission of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere,
  • ensure efficient use of water.
